All natural horse care in the west of Ireland

Meet Rhianne!! A Welsh Section A show pony. Rhianne and her owners came over for a play session today to introduce them all to NH. I met Ann, one of Rhianne's guardians, at the Parelli Celebration in November and offered to help Ann and her husband Garth familiarise themselves with NH. This was Rhianne and her owners first hands on experience with NH.

As soon as I met Rhianne, I knew she was going to be something special. She was a clever little Left Brain Extrovert (ideal for a Show Pony)!
We spent a little time getting to know each other, where she tested me a couple of times to see if I was a worthy leader with a couple of rears and bucks but nothing major. After proving myself to her we were soon off to a flyer.
At the end of the session Rhianne was moslty following direction jumping barrels and standing on pedestals on request with only occasional (and very minimal) resistance.
She needs a little more work on respecting personal space which Ann and Garth are going to work on and we will meet again in 2 weeks.
I had a great day and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Rhianne seemed to enjoy it too!!

To end a perfect day I stood on the ramp of the trailer and asked Rhianne to walk into the trailer on her own. No problem such a clever little pony!
And NO, the weather was not kind to us!!
