Have started just started taking Harley out for short walks on his own. He is doing really well for a 2 year old...He is mostly a LBE but he exhibits a little RB behaviour when he is on his own

We took Magpie and Polly out for a short hack yesterday for about an hour. Magpie was wearing the Bare Boots and she was fantastic. She was like a dressage horse!! She was so light on her feet and was lifting her front feet beautifully.

I met Tommy and current owners out for a walk today. He is now shod again and was a bit prancy. According to 'expert' owner, he is 'ruined' and it's all down to him not wearing iron shoes for the past 7 months!!
I was so mad but in my opinion it just proved how ignorant he is. Maybe
he was just trying to justify the paltry 500 EURO he has to pay for the
horse that he orginally sold for 2,500 EURO
This is the same fella that likened a horse wearing hoof boots to a human wearing heavy diving boots (could/would cause pulled muscles)!!

Parelli is back to the UK again this year. I went last year and it was a great weekend. It was too full days of information and entertainment. It wasn't just a show, it was information, information, information!! I found myself wiping away a tear and smiling both in equal doses many times during the two days. I was both elated and exhausted at the end of it. Tickets bought, flights and hotels booked for this year. Can't wait to go back again in August!!

My Polly is home!! I sold Polly to make room for Tommy but I was never really happy about selling her and missed her so much. The idea was to get a bigger horse and maybe do a few competitions. Expert friends had convinced me that I needed a bigger horse and my little horses would not suit.
