We (that's me and my horses) put on our first demo today of how horses can behave and perform tasks if treated naturally. I don't use the word 'trained' as I don't believe we can train horses to be horses. We can communicate with them our wishes once we have learned their language and hopefully if we have the bond with them they will perform the tasks asked of them.

Last night I was chatting to a neigbour friend of mine who has just got into horses. He is a cattle farmer but made the decision to get out of cattle and to breed Irish Draft Horses |

I have just completed two x two day courses (4 days in total) on Positive horsemanship with Vannessa Bee. Satrurday and Sunday was the 'Ready to Ride' course followed by Monday and Tuesday covering the 'Horse Behaviour and the Psychology of Training' |

We set out for our normal Saturday hack at 1pm as normal. Planned to meet up with some friends about 4 miles away. We had arranged to meet around 1.45pm. 45 minutes is how long it took us to get to the meeting place the last time we met up. |
