Was getting on well with Bare boots and Tommy was getting fitter by the day. Unfortunately, I was getting less confident on him as he got fitter and faster. Took him out last Saturday on a short hack. He was totally sound!! BUT I had no communication with him!!

Doh! Realised I had the Easy-Up Buckles on upside down! Clue should have been in the name...Watched the video of putting on the Epic boots which are similar to the Bare and the buckle clips down the way so I thought the Easy-Up would operate the same. See what thought done!!

The Epic Bare Boots were much easier to put on now we have changed to them over to using the easy-up buckles instead of the bungees that come as standard. Had all four boots on in less than ten minutes!

Tommy has now been without metal shoes for four months. He is still lame if I take him out without his boots. I thought he would be more sound at this stage.
Took him out for a walk today in hand wearing his Epic Bare boots with easy-up buckles and he seemed much better. He has lost muscle on his rump so I am going to walk him in hand for the next few weeks to get him a bit fitter before I ride him.

Received the boots for the back feet and tried them out today and after taking me an hour to get all four boots on took him out for a walk in hand. Perfectly sound!!
