Mongolia is the king of horse countries, where snow-covered mountains mingle with the desert. It is a country of contrast with a vast sea of green grass on the steppes, to the ochre sand dunes of the Gobi desert. Known as the 'Land of the Blue Sky' it is a remarkably sunny country where grasslands and deserts provide habitats for wildlife species such as the snow leopard, the Gobi bear, wild camel, and wild horse.

Baby has another abcess. This time in her right foot. This is the foot I was working on when she got an abcess in her left foot.
This one appeared as a lump on her tendon on Tuesday morning. I thought her leg looked a little swollen and she was limping again.

Today I decided to try practise the figure eight pattern around two barrels with Polly, Magpie and Harley.
I started with Harley and it was slow going but we were making progress.
Harley was offering lots of answers to start with but not the answer to the question.

Two weeks ago I decided it was time to start walking Harley outside of the safety of his home turf.
Harley is now 2 years and 6 months old and although quite young he is very brave and is always first to the gate to greet me and he loves playing games.

In August I purchased Baby for 200 EURO. She is a twelve year old thoroughbred ex-brood mare and reminds me of a princess or a fairy inside a horses body. She is the sweetest, gentlest horse I have ever had the honour to meet.
The original owner purchased six thoroughbred mares in Sping 2006 with the intention of breeding them and making some money. Baby being one of them.
